De verschillende types instrumenten en hun stemmingen. De min of meer dezelfde enkelriet mondstukken. De embouchure, de vingerzettingen, de ademhaling, grepentabellen en het instuderen. In de muziektheorie wordt ingegaan op o.a. muziekschrift, ritme, nuance, articulatie, toonhoogte, transponerende instrumenten. Een prima leesbaar boek dat enthousiasmeert. Als zeer belangrijk advies geeft schrijver Chris Coetree zijn lezer mee: 'Zoek een goede leraar!' A4 formaat, royaal in kleur geillustreerd, levendig vormgegeven.
